I-9 verifications are now available! The Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act of 2006 requires companies and their contractors and subcontractors who contract or subcontract with any government entity of Georgia to verify the work eligibility of all newly hired employees through an electronic federal work authorization program. The new requirements become effective for certain companies beginning July 1, 2007. Immigration laws are changing nationally…make sure you’re in compliance!
